Iran's military says it will respond to Israeli attacks in the region

The Iranian military has issued a strong statement saying it will respond to Israeli airstrikes on the Dahiya neighborhood south of Beirut, an area known as a stronghold of the Hezbollah group.

The attacks have heightened tensions in the Middle East, with the security situation shaken and peace talks between Iran and the United States facing new challenges.

Dahiya is a densely populated neighborhood and is often considered a center of Hezbollah power, so the Israeli strikes have raised fears of an escalation in major fighting.

According to Israeli military statements, the strikes targeted Hezbollah military infrastructure after the group fired missiles and drones into northern Israel.

However, Iran has stated that the attacks are part of the “Zionist regime’s brutality” and were carried out with the help of the United States.

Iran's military leadership has insisted that it has already responded by firing missiles at Israel, but has temporarily suspended attacks to give way to diplomatic talks.

However, Iran has warned that if Israel continues to attack Lebanon, especially Dahiya, then the response will be severe and devastating.

This statement has raised great concern among the international community, as it implies the possibility of a major war that could involve not only Israel and Hezbollah, but also Iran directly.

These attacks come at a time when Iran and the United States are close to reaching a peace agreement through Qatar's mediation.

President Donald Trump has criticized the Israeli attacks, saying they have delayed the signing of the agreement, which shows how the military situation can affect international diplomacy.

Meanwhile, Beirut residents have reported loud explosions and thick smoke rising over the city, causing panic and panic. The Israeli military has declared itself on high alert in the north of the country, preparing for the possibility of further attacks from Hezbollah or even Iran.

Iranian leaders, including Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, have said the Israeli attacks show the US’s weakness in fulfilling its diplomatic commitments.

Overall, this situation has put the Middle East in a period of heightened tension, where any military action could lead to the outbreak of a larger war.

Iran’s statement that a “harsh response” will be given if the attacks continue remains a warning that could change the course of international politics and security in the coming days.

In this context, the tension between Israel and Iran appears to have entered a new and dangerous phase, with the Dahiya neighborhood remaining a symbol of this conflict.

The current situation threatens not only the security of Lebanon and Israel, but also the future of the peace agreement being negotiated between Iran and the United States.
